Local App Data
The App stores information locally on your device to support your comparison sessions. This includes guided scope inputs, your current comparison board selections, saved boards (stored only on your device), saved notes within those boards, and your preferences for display and comparison behaviour.
If you choose to add optional local photos or image references to a board, those items are stored as local app content on your device and are not automatically transmitted to the developer.
This local content is not automatically transmitted to LOOKS LONDON SALON LTD as part of the core workflow. It remains under your control on your device.
On-Device Storage and Your Control
All workflow data—such as your saved boards and preferences—is stored locally on your device. The App does not maintain an account-linked history, and there is no cloud synchronisation of your data.
You can delete individual boards or notes within the App, and you can clear all local app data through the App's controls or through the Android device settings. Uninstalling the application will remove locally stored workflow data from your device.
Export and External Actions
The App may allow you to export, copy, or share locally generated summaries through Android system actions. This occurs only when you initiate it, and it is your choice to do so. Data remains on your device unless you choose to export, copy, or share it.
The App also includes contact actions that may open external Android services, such as a web browser, email client, or maps application, when selected by you. Those external services operate under their own privacy practices, and the Company is not responsible for their handling of your information.
If you contact the Company by email, you will be sharing your email address and the contents of your message with us. This is direct correspondence and is separate from the App's workflow data.
What the App Does Not Include
The App does not require login or account registration, does not use cloud synchronisation, does not provide payment or subscription functionality, and does not include monetisation features.
Important Use Notice
The comparisons and guidance provided by the App are based on the information you enter and are intended for informational and practical planning purposes only. They are not a substitute for an in-person professional consultation with a qualified hairdresser or colourist. Actual haircut or colour suitability depends on a professional assessment and, where relevant, proper colour testing.
The App's outputs are not legal, financial, insurance, or regulatory advice, and should not be relied upon as such.
Retention of Local Data
Local data, such as saved boards and preferences, remains on your device until you delete it through the App, clear local app data via device settings, or uninstall the application. Exported files remain wherever you choose to save or share them.
Security
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the App and its operation, but you are responsible for securing your own device and any exported files. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.
Your Rights (UK / EEA)
If you are in the UK or the EEA, you may have rights under applicable data protection legislation, including the right to access, correct, or delete personal data, and to restrict its processing, where applicable under law. The availability of these rights depends on whether personal data is processed.
Because the App is local-first and does not transmit workflow data to the developer, personal data you store on the device is generally under your control through the device itself. You can manage it in the App, through Android settings, or by uninstalling the application.

The App is intended for users aged 13 and above and is not directed to children under 13. LOOKS LONDON SALON LTD does not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.
